We recently announced the availability of, D-View 7, the newest version of our SNMP Network Management System (NMS). D-View 7 is a web-based NMS designed to effectively manage device monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting. The web-based design of D-View 7 allows users to manage a network without the need of installing client software.
“D-View has been redesigned to utilize a more streamlined server and probe architecture,” said Steven Olen, director of product marketing, D-Link Systems, Inc. “Each component has a fundamental role, and they work together to give network administrators a greater level of control and management ability over the network.”
D-View 7 is a free download which provides support for 25 nodes and two probes. For larger networks, additional nodes and probes can be added by purchasing license upgrades, which are available in increments of 25, 50 and 100 for nodes, and five and 25 for probes.
